Budget Cuts-- Your immediate Action is Needed
Now!!!
How will the proposed budget
cuts affect your child's classroom at MRES?
- Kindergarten class size will
go from the current 20 to 30 kids
- 4th adn 5th grade class size
will increase from an average of 30 to 35 students
- There will be no more
counseling servies
- HTere will be no more
technical support
- custodial and gardening
staff will be reduced
- teacher supply budgets will
be virtually non-existent
- 10-12 teachers at MRES will
loose their jobs

What can you do?
- Log onto www.NinthDistrictPTA.org
and click on "Find You Legislators"==>
- Type in your street
address and zip code and press the "find my CA
state Legistators" button
- Customize and print a letter to your legistators
- Make a note of the names
of your Senator and Assembly Member and return to the
home page.
- Click on the
corresponding names to customize (by changing ALL red
writing)
- Print a letter for each
adult member in your household
- Sign and mail, or sign and
return to your child's teacher for PTA to mail.
